Monschau Castle

Monschau Castle, dating back to the 13th century, towers above the town. From there, you have a fantastic view of Monschau and the surrounding landscape.

The Red House

The Red House, a half-timbered house from the 18th century, is now a museum. It provides insights into the history of Monschau and the town's former textile industry.

Monschau Mustard

The Historic Mustard Mill has been producing the traditional mustard for generations. In the shop, you can sample creative varieties such as honey-poppy seed, chili, or beer mustard.

Monschau Dütchen

Dütchen are thin, crispy sponge pastries that are shaped into small crescents (“Dütchen”) immediately after baking. Traditionally, they are filled with whipped cream, ice cream, or fruit.
