Each booking is confirmed by us via email.

To confirm your booking, we require a deposit, typically 20% of the total amount. This deposit must be received by the specified date.

Invalid Booking: If the deposit is not received on time, the booking will be invalidated and canceled by us.

The remaining balance is due no later than 21 days before the arrival date.

Missing Final Payment: If we do not receive the final payment or a response to our payment reminder, we reserve the right to release the apartment for rental. However, this does not exempt you from our cancellation fees if the apartment cannot be rebooked.

On-site Payment Options: Please note that EC card payments are NOT available on-site. Only cash and PayPal are accepted.

Day Visitors:

If you plan to host day visitors, please notify us in advance. The number of visitors should remain reasonable.

Additional Overnight Guests:

Additional overnight guests are only allowed by prior arrangement, provided there are enough beds in the apartment (no over-occupancy). We charge €15 per person per night for each additional overnight guest.

Unregistered Overnight Guests: Unregistered overnight guests will be charged €100 per night. This may also result in immediate termination of the rental agreement.

Included in the Price:

• Utilities (Water, Electricity, Heating)
• 1x Bedding per person (Beds are made)
• 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per person
• 2 dish towels, dish cloth
• 1 crib, additional travel crib upon request (Apartment 4 allows only 1 crib)
• Rental bikes for adults (Note: No children's bikes)
• Craft materials in the Creative Corner
• 1 x Treasure Hunt for families/children

Check-in: From 3:00 PM on the day of arrival

Check-out: By 10:00 AM

If a contactless check-in is preferred, we will provide all information prior to arrival.

*Final Cleaning:

We kindly ask you to leave the apartment in a tidy and orderly condition. This includes washing dishes, separating and disposing of waste in the designated bins, and leaving the apartment broom-clean.

After your stay, the apartment will be inspected by the landlord. If cleaning exceeds the standard cleaning level, a surcharge of €50 will apply for a deep cleaning.

Bachelor parties or similar events are not permitted!

If canceled more than 60 days before the arrival date, we will promptly refund your deposit.

• 60 days before arrival: 60% of the booking amount
• Less than 15 days before arrival: 80% of the booking amount
• Within 2 days before arrival or in case of no-show: 90% of the booking amount

In case of early departure or late arrival, the full booking amount is due.

We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.

Please note: Pets are not allowed on the premises!

Smoking is not permitted in the apartments, on the terrace, or in any of the buildings. This also applies to e-cigarettes.

Wi-Fi is available in the apartments. As we are in a rural area, please do not expect high-speed internet. Or consider “unplugging” for a while!

We welcome guests between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Please inform us if you plan to arrive later. Contactless check-in is available upon request; the key will be in the key safe at the apartment.

Check-out should be by 10:00 AM.

Bedding is included in the price. Each guest has a made-up bed. Please let us know in advance if you need a crib.

The kitchen includes:

• Dish towels
• Dishwasher tablets and dishwashing liquid
• Sugar, salt, oil & vinegar for light use
• Garbage bags
• Coffee filters
• Filter coffee machine and Senseo coffee machine
• Kettle, convection oven, induction stove
• Pots, dishes, cutlery, and glasses in ample supply
• Microwave (in all apartments)
• Additional items (waffle iron, hand blender) can be borrowed from the “spare cabinet” in the common room.

We do not provide meals. However, there are lovely restaurants nearby. Breakfast (upon prior arrangement) is available at Venngasthof zur Buche (+49(0)2472 1497) or Gästehaus Kuck (+49 (0) 2472 802960) in Mützenich.

Cost: €0.50 per kilowatt-hour (kWh).

From the Aachener Kreuz, take the Lüttich exit onto the A 44, then exit at Lichtenbusch; turn left onto B 258 towards Monschau; continue through Roetgen to Konzen. After passing the "Konzen" town sign, turn right and head towards Hatzevenn (Mützenich). The farm is located outside the village between Konzen and Mützenich.

Pets are NOT allowed on the premises.

There is a fridge with drinks at the barn entrance. Also available, while supplies last: eggs, butter, beer, and water.

A communal laundry room with washing machine and dryer is available for all guests (€3.00 per load, per machine).

Each guest receives a bath towel and at least one hand towel. For longer stays, we are happy to provide fresh towels upon request.

Visitors are welcome, but please arrange this with us in advance and keep the number of visitors reasonable.
